PHOBOS XS Mobile 7
a modular ruggedized portable surveillance station for recording
audio from analogue or digital telephones, ISDN trunk lines,
microphones and CCTV cameras.
Based
on a high specification ruggedized notebook PC with 7 PCI slots, you
can mix and match of different types of PCI recording cards.
Phobos has
feature rich recording, archiving and playback software that is easy
to use and
takes advantage of rapid technology advances in audio and video
processing, storage devices, and transmission technology.
A typical system configuration would consist of 8 analogue channels
microphones or telephone lines, 8 digital channels for digital
telephone handsets ( different PBX types menu selectable in
software), 8 channel ISDN2 basic rate card, ISDN30 E1 card V16
16 channel video capture card. Leaving 2 card slots free for cards
of your choice. Systems can be built with cards of your choice.
Cards can easily be changed.
PHOBOS XSMobile 7is supplied as a standalone system that can be connected to the
network for remote access by other PC workstations or over the
Internet.
Audio Analysis Window
PHOBOS XS Mobile 7modular ruggedized
portable surveillance station with 7 internal PCI card slots, which
provides for many different configurations. 4 or 8 analogue channels
or 4 or 8 digital PBX channels, ISDN 2, ISDN 30 E1 or T1or J1, 8 or
16 CCTV video channels.
With
the wide range of Phobos PCI recording cards, systems can be
configured for connection to different signal sources: analogue
phone lines, microphones; digital telephone handsets, digital trunk
lines (ISDN 2 ISDN 30) DECT phones fax lines, VoIP & CCTV Cameras.
All channels are completely independent
with on board Codec’s for compression and digital conversion,
meaning the PC processor is not over worked. All
setting changes are applied "on the fly" including recording
channels configuration and task scheduling.
Audio channels can be set for VOX voice
activation off hook line activation or manual / remote start stop
recording with control of all parameters such as levels etc.
Telephone numbers will be captured when available from source. When
recording from digital trunks audio and call data numbers will be
captured. Flexible schedulers allow users to set start stop
times, archiving to removable media such as DVD.
Video monitoring
Phobos has a USER FRIENDLY playback and audio analysis tool set.
Phobos playback tools are designed to save you time
when analysing recordings enabling you to easily find points of
interest in the playback window. You can view speech patterns,
quickly skip from point to point, start, stop, pause, skip forward &
back, speed up slow down, loop.
Users can add text
comments to recordings as well as copy convert to .WAV for emailing
recordings to others

Digital Sound Enhancement & Filtering
A unique feature of PHOBOS AUDIO is digital graphic
equaliser for audio enhancement and digital noise filtering.
When
recording in a noisy environments the audio filtering allows users to suppress
background noise such as traffic, fans and boost faint audio say
someone talking in another room with music in the background. This
can be used in for recording from microphones on Casino tables.
Note we can supply specialist covert microphones.
Digital Filters
Multi-level personnel access control
Individual security access rights can be assigned for individuals,
this feature can also be used to hide menu facilities providing a
very simple interface for non technical users who just want to
replay recordings for example.
In addition to standard functions it provides
different permissions to different records based on the record
category. The record category is set during recording based on its
attributes such as channel, Caller ID date etc. Categories can be
changed based on the record content. This functionality is truly
unique for security applications.
Secure access rights privileges
PHOBOS VIDEO
is based on true client-server architecture. An operator can view
live/recorded video and audio streams, control and configure the
system remotely.
PHOBOS VIDEO can be used in a multi-station
configuration with dozens of recording stations in a network with
centralised monitoring, archive navigation, access right management
and system configuration.
When Networked there
is no functional difference between local or remote access.
PHOBOS VIDEO
maintains high system performance while having multiples of users
connected on-line simultaneously.

Wavelet compression
PHOBOS VIDEO uses Wavelet compression technology, which provides a
very high degree of visual quality even at very high compression
rates with no blocky artefacts in the compressed image. In addition
does not use inter-frame coding and due to that each recorded frame
can be reproduced extremely sharply which is very important for
analysis of fast changing situations (terrorism, violence, casino
security).
PHOBOS VIDEO offers
multiple recording speeds that can be adjusted for any
camera-recording rate "on the fly" in response to varying
conditions. PHOBOS VIDEO can record both mono and stereo audio
channels. Each video camera could be logically associated with an
audio source. A unique feature is that audio recorded and
transmitted is fully synchronised with video.

configuration of surveillance zone, customization time, threshold
size of moving object and threshold speed of its motion
Each record can be
easily pinpointed by camera and date. More sophisticated search
tools that use additional attributes (e.g. operator comments) are
available.

Motion detection - Surveillance Zone
PHOBOS permits individual software
selection of recording criteria for each channel: on video signal
presence, on motion detection, on switching the control input on/off
with built-in motion detector for each channel. Surveillance zone,
relaxation time, sensitivity threshold can be configured via
software.
Each channel has individual software control of
brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, compression and contrast
beyond the high quality window. High quality window enables the
operator to monitor a selected section with improved quality.
New high speed PHOBOS
V16 printed circuit boards for video input. 4 channels of "live"
video, ultra speed multiplexer for 16 channels with 6 frames/second
from each channel.
