Upgrading

Depending on your organisations needs you can decide how many active fax channels you want installed in the unit. Minimum is 1, maximum is 4 or 8 depending on the Fax Server’s model. The number of active fax channels dictates how many faxes you can send and/or receive at the same time. Of course the amount of channels can be upgraded later so there is no need to invest more than your current requirement.  Like all Fax Servers the Fax Servers  Octo ad Quarto are supplied with an unlimited software license, it does not matter whether you use the Fax Server with 10 people or 100. This means...no hidden costs afterwards.

System Requirements  Microsoft Windows /XP/Vista/7   SendFax Software Faxes can be sent from any computer on the network that has SendFax software installed. On the PC the SendFax software behaves as a printer. SendFax software transfers the file over the network to the Fax Server which in turn takes care of the actual fax transmission. All sent faxes remain stored on the Fax Server and can be accessed via the LAN at any time.   Fax Server Access System This software manages access to the fax archive, performs searches and operates as an on screen fax browser. It also provides additional options, such as the creation of a fax archive on CD-ROM or DVD to enable storage for many years. The client software is suitable for LAN and Internet use. This software is compatible with PCs running Microsoft Windows 2000, XP and Vista. Because the software cannot be used independently of the Fax Server IP hardware, there are no installation licence fees. The software automatically manages operation with multiple fax lines. The Fax Server Setup software is used by the system administrator to set up the Fax Server for use via the PC. The administrator can link fax numbers to E-mail addresses, allowing the users of SenFax to send and receive faxes from and on their PC's.
