VoIP Telephone Calls
CallRex Professional is the leading packet-based VoIP
call recording and monitoring solution for companies using
latest generation IP PBX-enabled
telephone systems. CallRex pro is very affordable, has
a user friendly interface and does not require complex
configuration or integration.
CallRex is used by many types of business to improve
customer service, speedily resolve disputes, for compliance
with regulations as well as security.
CallRex is unique:
it uses packet-sniffing technology to record and monitor
calls. CallRex accesses audio packets via port mirroring on
the data switch to which the IP PBX is connected. Every
audio packet that goes to/from the IP PBX is copied to
CallRex, which then reassembles the packets, and compresses
and stores the recorded call for later retrieval.
CallRex
requires NO proprietary hardware.
In addition to an IP phone system and a network switch that
has the ability to monitor ports, CallRex will only require
a standard Windows-based server with two network cards. No
telephony cards are required.
The
CallRex Server
coordinates all recording and monitoring and provides call
storage. Stored call files utilize 1kb per second. The
CallRex Server also includes SQL database software.
The
information for the calls (Caller ID and time stamp data) is
stored in a SQL database on the local PC server; the calls
are stored in standard wave format.
Efficient
Storage One Giga Byte of drive space you can fit 293
hours of recording typically 105,000 speech hours on line
access per CallRex Voice Server.
The CallRex Client is for
managers, system administrators and others who configure how
telephone activity will be recorded. The CallRex Client is
used to add users, retrieve calls, monitor calls in
real-time, and administer CallRex. While the CallRex Client
can be installed on any computer in the network, it is
typically installed on administrators’ and managers’
computers.

time and date, user name, inbound number, caller ID name,
phone number, flagged name or value, and recording group.

- Flexible security rights allow administrators to assign
monitoring, recording and playback rights on a per user
